Cozy Quilt Ministries of HUMC

The COZY QUILT MINISTRY was started in 2004 as one friend helping another and has grown to include dozens of people quilting, assisting and praying to reach out to those suffering from cancer and its treatments. Patients are given a ‘cozy quilt’ to chase away the chills caused by cancer or its treatments. A coordinating tote bag to carry the quilt to treatments and elsewhere, and the book, “When God and Cancer Meet” to bring the comfort of God’s love to light for patients and their families.

Quilt packages are provided FREE of charge upon request and come with the promise of continued prayer support.

We meet the second Saturday of each month as a group from 1-4 PM on the second floor mezzanine. We also occasionally meet on the second Friday evening of the month also. Call the office or Maureen for those dates. You do not need
to know how to sew! We welcome those who can iron, fold, or tie a knot on a quilt.
